Governance Highlights and Rule book
NorCal Powerlifting sets high standards for the federation’s officers and directors. Implicit in this philosophy is the importance of sound athletic governance. It is the duty of the Directors to serve as a prudent fiduciary for participating athletes. To fulfill its responsibilities and to discharge its duty, the Directors follow the procedures and standards that are set forth in these rules. These rules are subject to modification from time to time as the Directors deem appropriate in the best interests of NorCal Powerlifting or as required by applicable regulations.

After listening to and considering numerous lifters’ feedback on gear, NORCAL POWERLIFTING voted to expand the usage of knee wraps, making them an option effective at the November 6, 2016 Powerlifting Event.
Consequently, the equipment rule change constitutes a new division “Raw with Knee Wraps Division.”

Always evolving questioning the status quo, not accepting “...because it’s always been that way”.
Cultural inclusion inspires discovery and innovation. Great ideas push the world forward and can come from anywhere. At NORCAL POWERLIFTING, our diverse backgrounds and perspectives spark that discovery and innovation by embracing the spirit of individuality while thriving off the value of cultural inclusion. It is reflected in our brand, mission statement, business associates, staff, ports of call, and most prominently in our lifters. It is who we are, the cloth from which we are cut.
